Simple Obedience
Wednesday Jun 16, 2021
Wednesday Jun 16, 2021
Obedience and faith are so divinely connected, it is impossible to have one without the other. It requires faith to believe what we’ve heard is correct and it requires obedience to take a step of action.

Our Father
Thursday Jun 03, 2021

We are a church body that places a high value on the presence of God. It is impossible to enjoy and engage with the presence of God if we don’t have an authentic and Biblical expression of praise and worship naturally flowing from our hearts.

Something New - Pt. 2
Thursday May 20, 2021
Thursday May 20, 2021
When it comes to God’s promises, sometimes it is easy for us to make the mistake of thinking they will just happen without any change or effort on our part. The things in our past God desires to change cannot be a part of our future, as He takes us from the old to the new.

Community
Saturday Apr 24, 2021
Saturday Apr 24, 2021
The idea of God’s family living in unity runs throughout the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation. One way our enemy seeks to divide and create disunity is through the snare of "offense." Let us make every effort to maintain biblical unity and walk in God's character and His love which, as Colossians puts it, "binds everything together in perfect harmony [unity]."

Go and Do Likewise
Saturday Apr 17, 2021
Saturday Apr 17, 2021
God shows us, through His Word, how to be a true, Godly "neighbor," and then tells us to go and do the same. Will we walk out true, Biblical faith because of a burning desire to see ourselves and others changed by the power of God, or are we simply walking out a list of dos and don'ts?

When Order Looks Different
Wednesday Jan 13, 2021
Wednesday Jan 13, 2021
As we look through scripture, we see that when God sets things into order, many times, it is preceded by a time of shaking or unsettling. If we desire for Him to set things in order in our lives, we must continue to stay the course and trust Him in those times where things are being shaken. As He takes us through the shaking, He is bringing into order the things that can never be shaken.

Grace Recognized
Thursday Jan 07, 2021
Thursday Jan 07, 2021
Is there a time in your life where you have experienced great JOY? We probably all have. Many times, our thought is to associate it with emotion and good feelings. As wonderful as those times are, we see in scripture that the JOY God gives to us goes beyond good feelings. His Joy in our lives is His GRACE RECOGNIZED, which goes us the ability to press on even when things may not FEEL joyous.

If we knew it would cost us deeply, would we do it? As we dig deep and learn the lessons of Joseph and Mary, may our answer be a resounding “YES!”

Friday Dec 11, 2020
Do we treasure and honor God’s Word, voice and presence in our lives? Have they become common to us or are we treasuring them and walking in joyful submission and worship to Him? As followers of Christ, we need to know the amount of God’s influence and impact in our lives will be in direct proportion to our level of honor or dishonor we choose to walk in.

The Power of Contentment - Part 2
Friday Dec 04, 2020
Friday Dec 04, 2020
Paul reveals to us in Philippians 4 that he had to LEARN HOW to be content, meaning he didn’t start out that way. While that lets us know we are in good company if we struggle with a lack of contentment, it should also encourage us in realizing that if Paul LEARNED how to NOT stay there, we can learn and move on from that place as well.

The Power of Contentment
Wednesday Nov 25, 2020
Wednesday Nov 25, 2020
In Philippians 4:13, we read that we CAN do all things through Christ who strengthens us. If we look a little deeper in that verse, we see the principle of contentment and learn that this verse is more than a promise of accomplishing something difficult in Christ. We also see that the measure of joy in our lives isn’t determined by our current circumstances, but rather, our relationship with Christ.

Spirit, Soul, & Body - Part 5
Wednesday Nov 25, 2020
Wednesday Nov 25, 2020
The main reason God wants us to crucify our flesh and its desires, to renew our minds through His word and allow Him to heal us from the wounds of our past is because He wants us to be led by the Spirit. It is His desire that we, as His children, would be a people who are truly Spirit-led.

Spirit, Soul, & Body - Part 4
Thursday Nov 12, 2020
Thursday Nov 12, 2020
Matthew 22:34-40 states the most important commandment is to love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and to love your neighbor as yourself. As a believer, that should be our greatest DESIRE, yet there is often a huge gap between that desire and how we walk it out in REALITY. The hidden truth is that the size of the gap between our desire and our reality is ultimately determined by the HEALTH of our SOULS.

Your flesh is constantly at war with your spirit and if you don’t keep your spirit fed and strong, your flesh will win out every time. You are the only one who can decide who will win in this internal, spiritual tug-of-war. The law of sowing and reaping is an established one; what harvest will you eat from?

Spirit, Soul, & Body
Wednesday Oct 21, 2020
Wednesday Oct 21, 2020
God made us a three-part being; spirit, soul and body. Many times, we allow our souls; our own thoughts, wills and emotions, which are connected to our sin-nature, to dominate our Earthly bodies. God, who IS spirit (John 4:24), has called us instead to live this Earthly life from our spirits, as they are reborn and connected to Him and His life-giving, God-nature.

Have we ever considered that our freedom might be the VERY REASON for Christ’s divine rules … even the rules we don’t like? As we become more mature in our faith, we should be asking, “How can this rule help me get FREE from bondage?” or “How can observing this rule help PROTECT the freedom I HAVE?”

The Heart of a Disciple - Part 4
Wednesday Oct 07, 2020
Wednesday Oct 07, 2020
Along the path of discipleship, we will hear the call to SERVE! Jesus gave us an example to follow of serving by not only washing the feet of those He trusted, but also, the one who would betray Him... We are called to serve the least of these; we are called to serve as Jesus served.

The Heart of a Disciple - Part 3
Wednesday Oct 07, 2020
Wednesday Oct 07, 2020
As we continue in our journey to be disciples, Jesus has called us to LEARN His ways. Our lives must show the proof of that learning by moving from a place of simply HEARING His Word to a place where we apply what we’ve learned and DO what His Word says.

The Heart of a Disciple - Part 2
Thursday Sep 24, 2020
Thursday Sep 24, 2020
We have not been born again into God’s kingdom to be part of the problem, but rather, to be part of the solution for what He wants to accomplish in this day and age. This starts with having the heart of a disciple that, first, loves God, and then, loves each other!

From Mediocrity to Maturity
Thursday Sep 24, 2020
Thursday Sep 24, 2020
Jesus wants us to be His disciples; not just those who simply learn His teachings but those who are so close in relationship with Him that they actually want to become like Him. We must not settle for a life of spiritual mediocrity but accept His invitation to embrace the process and let Him transform us into all we truly can become in HIm.

The Wilderness
Thursday Sep 24, 2020
Thursday Sep 24, 2020
If we serve God long enough, we will find ourselves in a wilderness. An important thing to consider at that moment is not that we are there because we did something wrong, but possibly, that we did something right. Our calling and anointing are not what change us; it's God working in us through the wilderness.

Tuesday Sep 01, 2020
Tuesday Sep 01, 2020
Many times, we can allow the things we see solely in front of us to affect or shape what we believe and are convinced of. God wants us to trust and look through the eyes of Faith and allow Him to give us vision beyond what our own eyes can see.
